Our Take
Lucid has emerged out of nowhere in 2025 and taken the top spot in our list. It offers the least restrictive rules and there's no limit on passing the evaluation so you can take your time. Lucid has the highest value for money offerings. The Flex plan offers the best bang for your buck in the industry currently. Another unique feature Lucid offers is the promo vault. The promo vault keeps the best offers in your account for a longer duration so you don't have to FOMO into buying more accounts. The CEO A.J. hangs out with the community regularly which is a rare sight to see in the industry. Overall, Lucid is becoming the favorite in the Prop trading community.

Tradeify, also being a relatively newer firm, has quickly built a strong reputation for its clean rules and trader-friendly structure. Most positive feedback highlights the simplicity of their evaluation, fast payouts, and transparent model. Tradeify is one of the first firms to introduce Straight to Funded Accounts. Being a newer firm, the overall sentiment remains very positive.

FundedNext Futures (FNF) benefits from the reputation of its already established forex division (FundedNext), and traders generally appreciate the straightforward evaluation and consistent payout cycles. Customer Experience often mentions reliability and platform stability. On the downside, some users felt disappointed when they changed the profit split from 90% to 80% recently. The futures offering is still relatively new, leading to some caution among experienced traders. But FNF is still a good choice in our book.
The MFTV Youtube Channel offers great value with a variety of hosts.

Our Take
MyFundedFutures (MFF) is among the few highest rated firms on Trust Pilot. Despite being established in 2023, it is still lagging behind some newer firms. Despite having such a high rating, which we believe was earned when they had better rules (Cheaper plans, 100% profit split up to $10,000, No Intra-day Drawdown), we have to move it down the ranks due to their recent changes in 2025. MFF went from offering regular discounts to almost no discounts. Or at least, the price you pay after discount is still not justifiable when compared to our Top Suggestions. The recent price increase and removal of the Core plan ($77) prevents us from rating them as first choice. The Rapid plan, although, offering daily payouts, comes with intra-day Trailing Drawdown in the funded stage which we are against. 1-Day payouts may seem juicy but it's a double edged Sword when paired with intra-Day Trailing Drawdown and having to make the buffer amount. Newer traders are more likely to blow their accounts or develop poor trading habits with this type of offerings. Despite that, if you are an experienced trader or looking to add more into your prop accounts, MFF is still a good choice.

Our Take
Alpha Futures has gained rapid popularity due to its high Trustpilot rating. Traders frequently highlight the availability of multiple platforms and lack of restrictive rules as major advantages. However, the activation fee makes it difficult for us to recommend Alpha futures in the top choices. The value for money rating is low compared to the competition. We still recommend them if you have maxed out on accounts in other firms based on the ranking and looking to add more.

Our Take
TakeProfit Trader (TPT) is well regarded for its ability to provide profits from day one, which is a major attraction for many traders. Reviews frequently praise the platform variety, simpler rules and smooth payout process. However, similar to MyFundedFutures' (MFF) Rapid Account, the funded account has Intraday Trailing Drawdown, which can catch newer traders off guard. Due to the Intraday Drawdown, we only recommend TPT to the experienced traders looking to add more accounts to their arsenal. New traders should focus on our top firm suggestions with EOD Drawdown offerings.
E8 Markets has a solid reputation as a multi-asset firm, with traders appreciating its flexibility and customizable evaluation models. 1-day pass can be a plus for users. However, 7 day inactivity rule is a bit harsh on Eval.

Our Take
Topstep is one of the oldest and most established prop firms, and many traders value its educational ecosystem and long track record. However, their poor response to the platform outages in Oct. 2025 were met with customer dissatisfaction. The mass flagging of customers for hedging in Dec. 2025 might have been the final nail in the coffin. Their Trustpilot rating has declined drastically since then, with users frequently citing rule changes, higher costs, unfair account flagging and dissatisfaction with the transition to the Project X platform. There was a recent price decrease but it did not last long. Where we used to have only 1 rule (Their Tagline: 1 Step, 1 Rule), now we have several rules (consistency rules, payout cap and smaller live capital when moving to live). When you pair that with only 1 trading platform offering, it prevents us from recommending TopStep as the user's First Choice.
While still trusted historically, current feedback is more mixed compared to newer competitors. It is going to take a long time to earn the reputation that TopStep used to have.

Our Take
Apex Trader Funding is one of the most popular firms in the space, largely due to its high payout potential with 20 max accounts and frequent discounts. Many traders report successful payouts and scalability across multiple accounts. However, negative reviews often mention rule changes, unfair payout denials, payout delays, and inconsistencies in enforcement on top of lack of proper communication with the customers, which has created mixed sentiment despite its strong overall rating. Apex has a low starting cost but when you pass, there is an activation fee $89/$109 (for Intraday/EOD accounts respectively) which makes it more expensive per account. They have recently revamped their rules, made them easier, and claimed that there will be no payout denials. However, people are still experiencing delays in the payouts. They have also revamped the payout rules to 100% profit split and limited to 6 payouts/account. After 6 payouts, the funded account is closed and you can restart a new evaluation account.
We recommend Apex for experienced traders who know what they are doing and want to scale up to 20 Accounts. Apex also allows you to register as an LLC which is a rare sight to see.
